Staff Accountant
Fredy supports the finance team by processing and reviewing financial transactions, performing financial analysis to build reports, and maintaining and improving financial systems and processes.
As a staff accountant based in the New York office, Fredy has created transaction processing models for various recurring transactions, provided expense reports to different departments, and worked with service providers to connect our financial databases.
Prior to joining HR&A, Fredy has worked as a contractor at different companies in accounting positions. Through Robert Half, he worked with Center for Court innovation. There he supported the accounting team by helping with the rollout of Netsuite, approving transactions and assisting with budgeting for projects. Fredy also supported the accounting team at The New Press. Managing the AP functions, reconciling corporate credit card transaction, and completing compliance tasks such as filing and mailing out 1099 information. Working with different accounting systems throughout these roles such as Netsuite, Quickbooks and Acumen.
Fredy has a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Finance from Baruch College.
