Civic Center Public Realm Plan Team Wins Prestigious American Architecture Award

Civic Center Public Realm Plan Team Wins Prestigious American Architecture Award

We’re thrilled to announce that the San Francisco Civic Center Public Realm Plan has been honored with the 2024 American Architecture Award for Urban Planning/Landscape Architecture by The Chicago Athenaeum and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies! This award celebrates innovation in architecture and urban design, and we couldn’t be prouder of our team’s role in this transformative project.

As part of this collaboration, HR&A Advisors provided crucial economic analysis and public management strategies to shape the concept design plan. We worked alongside the talented team at CMG Landscape Architecture and a group of expert partners, including Gehl Studio, Kennerly Architecture + Planning, InterEthnica, Lotus Water, Structus, HRA Consulting Engineers, JS NOLAN, and M Lee Corporation.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this exceptional project! Together, we are helping to create a more vibrant, accessible, and sustainable Civic Center for San Francisco.
