Liz has over 20 years of experience in business development, marketing, and communications, specializing in helping design and mission-driven professional service organizations grow, innovate, and evolve their business models.

She focuses on creatively integrating business development within organizational cultures, collaborating with leaders and colleagues to develop new strategies and processes that can serve clients’ changing needs.

Before joining HR&A, Liz held leadership roles in business development and marketing at notable architecture firms in New York and San Francisco, including Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Multistudio, Ennead Architects, and Perkins & Will.

Liz is passionate about the role of cities in advancing sustainability and equity. She participated in Cohort 7 of the Climate Base Fellowship, where she deepened her understanding of climate change’s impact on urban environments. Additionally, Liz has been a strong advocate for housing affordability, freeway removal, and infrastructure reuse in San Francisco, where she lived for 12 years.

Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from The College of William & Mary and a Master of Design in Interior Studies: Adaptive Reuse from the Rhode Island School of Design.
